For those unfamiliar with the term, "Wedding Photojournalism" refers to a style of wedding photography that emphasizes capturing the story of the wedding rather than simply a few static, posed shots. Many years from now, when you bring out your wedding album to look back on the occasion, you won't simply be confronted with more posed, smiling faces. Instead, you'll see the true emotions of the day, from the bride's preparation jitters with her friends and family to the unbridled joy of the reception.

Many photographers will spend hours after the ceremony posing the bride, groom, wedding party, extended family, and guests in countless combination, holding up the wedding day and keeping the couple from their guests. Unless otherwise requested, we will not take any time from your wedding day. If you'd like traditional, posed photos, we will prepare for them in advance so that they can be shot as beautifully but quickly as possible.

Each of our wedding packages includes a pre-wedding portrait shoot, or "engagement portrait" session at a location of your choice. This gives the couple a chance to get beautifully composed photos outside of the stress of a wedding day, while it also provides the couple a chance to get comfortable with the photographer.
